The company is under the leadership of the Germany-based Klett Group and with nine production plants and more than 15 sales and service facilities and 450 staff members, IMG belongs to the worldwide Top 5 manufacturers of equipment for the corrugated industry.

The three main operating units are IMG-Klett (and its subsidiary companies) to serve all customers in Europe— including Russia—Africa, and Australia/New Zealand, IMG-Brausse (and its subsidiaries) to serve all North American customers, and IMG-Dong Fang (and its subsiadiaries) to serve all Asian customers.
